Amalio de Marichalar (Spain)
Amalio-Joaquín de Marichalar studied Law, Political Sciences and Sociology at Madrid’s Complutense University, then undertook a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Business. He has promoted a number of highly symbolic and pioneering projects in the Spanish insurance sector. He is a member of various private institutions and associations and is chairman of the association Foro Soria 21 para el Desarrollo Sostenible. He was a member of the Ministerial Preparatory Meeting for the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development, held in Bali in 2002 and participated in the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development, held in Johannesburg in 2002, as the official representative of the Provincial Council and City Hall of Soria. He attends, moderates and speaks at a wide range of international conferences, summits and seminars.
Dagmar Samešová (Slovakia)
Samešová is a Slovakian citizen. She is Chemistry and Technology engineer and has PhD in philosophiae on Environmental Chemistry and Technology Principles of Higher Education and Psychology. She has more than 40 years experience of Environmental Sciences gained through working in Slovakian High School System and Universities.
Actually, she is a professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering (since 2015), Dean at the Department of Environmental Engineering,Technical University of Zvolen, Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Slovakia.
Last years, her professional career has covered: guidance and teaching of subjects Waste Management, Waste Management I, Waste Engineering III, Environmental Quality of Materials, Environmental Audit, Consultancy, Review and Environmental Audit, Water Technology, Water Treatment and Treatment Processes, Water Management, Bioengineering and Biotechnology. Guarantor of all three levels of the Environmental Engineering Department, including the rights to conduct habilitation and inaugurations, bachelor's, master's and dissertation work.

The 27-th of November was held a cultural event in Soria at the Site of Numancia (Garray, Soria) on the occasion of the 2150th Anniversary of the resistance of Numancia (133AC-2017). First Conference “Sustainability, Social and Environmental Responsibility - New Approaches and Technologies” took place on 21-23 November.
The Viglas Castle 3rd Aniversary took place on 15-17 September (see the film in EVENTS/ANIVERSARY VIGLAS CASTLE). Acts of the tribute to the flag and military parade inside Numancia on 23 September (see films in EVENTS/NUMANCIA 2017) .
Inauguration of “Viglas Forum 21” was held in Viglas Castle, Slovakia. The Inauguration was attended by delegates from Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, USA, Belarus, Russian Federation, UK, Ukraine. Please see Report on page "Inauguration".
Bob Bailey (UK)
Bob Bailey is a UK citizen. He is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and has a Masters Degree in Industrial Processes as well as a Management Diploma. He has 40 years experience of Sustainable Development gained through working with an electricity supply company, in a major process industry (steel production) and in senior consultancy positions.
Bob Bailey’s consultancy career has covered energy supply and efficiency, renewable energy, resource efficiency, waste & recycling, waste to energy and general environmental management. He has also worked extensively with sustainable technology providers in business planning, marketing strategies and technology transfer and with financial institutions on funding for sustainability projects. Although he is based in the UK he has worked extensively in Central & Eastern Europe and has undertaken projects in the USA, South America and South Africa.
Bob’s public sector clients include international organisations, national governments, regional bodies, municipalities and universities. In the private sector, he has worked for companies ranging from multi-nationals to small & medium sized businesses.
In the past, he has set up and directed several consultancy companies in positions ranging from Managing Director to Business Development Director. He is currently a Director of Glenwood Environmental Technologies in the UK, a company that is promoting pyrolysis systems as a way of sustainably dealing with waste and producing renewable energy. He is also a Director of ENVIROS, the leading energy & environmental consultancy in the Czech Republic which he helped to establish in 1994.
Bob Bailey believes that that Sustainable Development (or “Green Growth”) has a massive role to play in the world today. Not only is it a way of conserving the Earth’s resources but it can also provide millions of new jobs at all levels of society as well as creating safer and self-sufficient communities.
Dragan Trivan (Serbia)
Dragan Trivan, PhD in Security and Protection Studies, associate professor at the Faculty of Business Studies and Law in Belgrade, "Union Nikola Tesla" University. Mr Trivan was elected to scientific titles in several countries. He is the president of Serbian Association of Managers in Corporative Security. He is also the author of several monographs, textbooks, manuals, and number of research papers presented at national and international conferences and published in domestic and foreign journals. For exceptional achievements in business, scientific, and humanitarian work, he was repeatedly awarded domestically and abroad.
Professor Trivan is a member of the American Society of Criminologists and the International Association of Criminologist.
Vladimir Simonov (Russia)
Vladimir Simonov is a Russian Federation citizen. Actually, he is adviser to the company "Solar Systems", director of ANO "Center for International Projects", Doctor of Technical Sciences.
He studied at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute as a thermophysicist, in 1985 he graduated from the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade with a specialization in economics of international relations. More than 20 years he worked in the system of the USSR Academy of Science and the USSR State Committee for Science and Technology. The main areas of scientific interests: methods of energy conversion, the properties of new working bodies and coolants, energy systems and installations. At the Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the USSR Academy of Sciences, he headed the coordination center for the international program for the development of MHD installations for various fuels. In the Center for International Projects of a the SCST Simonov V. conducted international projects of specialized organizations of the UN system: UNEP, UNESCO, UNDP, mainly aimed at the environmentally protected development of natural resource management.
From the beginning of the 90s he was engaged in practical work in the energy branch of Russia. He participated in the development of investment programs for generating companies of RAO UES of Russia, and as deputy director for capital construction he supervised the construction of a number of large thermal power plants. Since 2010, he worked in the subsidiary structure of the Renova group on the creation of solar power in Russia, including the construction of a factory for the production of thin film modules with a capacity of 130 MW. Present time he continues its activities to develop solar energy in the company "Solar Systems". As director of the ANO, the "Center for International Projects" participates in the implementation of the Action Plan for the Convention on the Protection of Natural Resources of the Caspian Sea, in the sphere of Simonov's interests there are issues of recycling industrial waste.
Alexander Solonko is a Russian Federation citizen. He is physicist received his engineer grade and Ph.D in National Research Nuclear University MIFI, Moscow, in 1984. He started his career as a researcher in Institute for High Temperatures of Russian Academy of Sciences, participating in establishment of research laboratory for material degrading in space, then transfer his work to CIEMAT, Madrid. In 1992, he was awarded with the membership in SPIE (American Society for optic and electronic engineers) for several prototypes ideas published in their journal, founded a private owned research center for Neuro Chip (used in intellectual control systems) in Madrid. He is an author of more than 20 scientific articles. From 1993, he started to work as a manager for international interactions in EVRAZ Group, then in companies of RAO UES (United Energy Systems) as an adviser of General directors. In 2012 with his participation was founded Ministry of Russian Far East Development where he executed a post of State Advisor of third grade for international relations. During the last years he was an official Representative for a number of Spanish and Chinese industrial and energetic groups in Russian Federation: IBERDROLLA, ELECNOR, INCATEMA, CAMCE, TBEA SUNOASIS, ZHONGTONG, etc., He is currently having a private consultancy for business development and coordination based in Moscow.
